Centennial Reunion Committee
The Centennial Reunion would not be possible without the expertise and
enthusiasm of a phenomenal team of women from the Class of 1965. Led by Nancy
Corbin Deviney, who for years organized the Freer Rattlesnake Roundup, her
ideas and planning have already exceeded our expectations for a grand weekend,
and have captured the imagination of the City of Kingsville itself. RoseMary
Brooks Sheldon (alias “Cactus Jack” on the Decade site) is our website guru,
keeping both the ’65 and Decade sites informative and exciting. Additionally,
the Class of ’65 has selflessly given over a major portion of precious web
space for the publication of Decade announcements and pictures from various
Decade-related events. Marilyn Birchett Moerbe has worked tirelessly
to help find people, to grow our address list, and keep it current. And Cyndi
Chesser Walker is a superb networker who has been instrumental in securing
the assistance and cooperation of both classmates and businesses in Kingsville, making this
reunion a truly “community” effort.
Sincerest thanks to all four for their time, their talents, and especially their friendship.
Their efforts have given all of us the opportunity to reconnect with old friends,
and even make new ones. Sally
